Introducing the Loving Kindness Mindfulness Series

It has been said that "the most intimate relationship we will ever have is the one we have with ourselves."

Join us for this 3-part series on loving-kindness and compassion, where we will explore the potential for deepening our relationship with ourselves. Each week we will explore wisdom teachings on loving-kindness and compassion, woven in with mindful movement and meditation to make our time together healing and worthwhile. Please have at hand 2 firm blankets, a pillow, and an (optional) cushion or bolster for support of the lower back.

Yoga Mudra 

The word “mudra” means gesture. Yoga mudras are hand positions that can benefit your health by guiding circulation and energy to specific areas of the body and mind. This class will take place with participants seated in chairs; no yoga clothes or items are required. This is yoga anyone can enjoy! Qigong  

Qi means “life energy” and gong means “daily effort”; Qigong focuses life energy for different purposes, including self-healing. Zhineng Qigong consists of an easy-flowing series of movements combined with “intention” to gently open the power of the mind and heart to induce healing, cultivate wisdom, and balance our physical and energetic systems to invite joy into our lives. Mindfulness Meditation 

Mindfulness meditation practice couldn’t be simpler: take a good seat, pay attention to the breath, and when your attention wanders, return. By following these simple steps, you can get to know yourself up close and personal. Browse the calendar.

The Journey
